This is some sick and nasty death metal right here. Reminds me of Cryptopsy's None So Vile somehow. Technical and fast as hell, the riffs strike you with sheer brutality. What I really like is the unpredictable songwriting. There are constant changes everywhere and they come out of fucking nowhere. Nice upside: Anathema is well produced and has a lot of dynamic range. So far, one of my favourites of 2019.
